Dr. Crystal Lewis holds a doctorate in education and a master's degree in communication. She has worked in higher education institutions for over 14 years in the areas of instruction and curriculum development. Dr. Lewis has assisted hundreds of high school students on their college journeys gain acceptance to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, University of Michigan, Notre Dame, Boston College, Duke, and many other top universities in the United States. She has also worked with many international students applying as undergraduates to higher education institutions in the U.S.
Recently, Dr. Lewis spent two years developing curricula for the communications department of the Asia Campus of the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).

In addition to her work as an educational consultant and instructor, Dr. Lewis also has over 10 years of experience as a grant and proposal writer for both non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses in the private sector. Her grant writing platforms include securing housing for the mentally-ill homeless population of the Unit
In addition to her work as an educational consultant and instructor, Dr. Lewis also has over 10 years of experience as a grant and proposal writer for both non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses in the private sector. Her grant writing platforms include securing housing for the mentally-ill homeless population of the United States, work programs centered on people with disabilities, youth educational programming, and combatting the opioid epidemic across the country. Her areas of expertise in curriculum development are cultural communication, effective communication, and mass media.

She earned a bachelor's of arts in biological sciences from Mount Holyoke College. She has worked in higher education institutions for over 4 years in the areas of business law, business ethics, innovation and entrepreneurship, and human capital.
